Human Resources
The Human Resources Director assists the Executive Director with personnel and benefits issues to take before the GMRDC Board of Directors. The HR Director is also responsible for researching the market for more cost effective Health, Dental, Life, and Short Term/Long Term Disability Insurance. The HR Department is also responsible for processing payroll for all GMRDC employees.
The Human Resource Director networks with local governments concerning HR issues, and attends many conferences throughout the year, including: Georgia Local Government Personnel Association (GLGPA) and the Cane Garden Bay Financial Software Conference.
The GMRDC Human Resources Department is committed to providing quality services, and support in employment, training, employee relations, benefits, compensation and safety beyond the expectations of all employees enabling them to better serve our member governments.
